Commercial fleet EV drivers

How do I use the charge points? (RFID)
Commercial fleet vehicle drivers will typically use RFID cards to access the charge points. SW fleet ChargePlace Scotland RFID cards have been configured to also work on all SW charge points

To start a charge:
1. Swipe your RFID card
2. Plug your charge cable into your vehicle
3. Plug your charge cable into the charge point 
It will begin charging automatically, please check charging has commenced before leaving your vehicle. 

To end a charge:
1. Swipe the RFID card* you used to begin the charge cycle.
2. Disconnect from the vehicle
3. Disconnect from the charger
*It must be the same card, or the charge point will not release your cable
How do I get an RFID card?
All new Commercial EV's will be delivered with a charge card, if you lose or damage your card replacements can be obtained from the Scottish Water fleet team (electricvehicles@scottishwater.co.uk), please quote your registration name and delivery address, your old card will be cancelled and a new card will be issued.
Can I use the webapp to start a charge for my fleet vehicle?
Yes but we would advise RFID use as it is easier. Should you arrive at a charge point and have lost your RFID, please call us on 0333 5770131.
How can i find out information about the charge points?
Fleet drivers can use the Live Sites page on the info website to access more information about charge points. Here you can search for nearby charge points, check availbility, type, speed etc. 
You can also find this information in the App.
 
Using the ChargePlace Scotland Network
You can continue to use the ChargePlace Scotland network as usual. 

General

What do i do if i have a problem?
Please log any issues with us via the ticket desk. If it is urgent, you can call us on 0333 577 0131 and we will attempt to solve issues live, or advise you to the nearest operational unit. 
Please include the charge point ID number in all correspondence so we know which unit has the issue. This number can be found on the sticker on the charge point. 
How do I log a ticket with you?
You can log any requests, queries issues etc. via our ticket desk
I've lost an RFID access card, what should i do?
Report it lost via the ticket desk or via our customer support team. The card will then be blocked, and will no longer provide access to your charge points.
Can people outside of my organisation access the charging points?
Only users who are granted access by the charging point owner will be able to begin a charge cycle.
Can someone steal the charging cable from the charger?
No, a pin mechanism locks the cable in place. Only the user who began the charging event can end the charging event and unlock the cable.
What is Park & Recharge?
Park & Recharge is a smart electric vehicle (EV) charging solution powered by Hubeleon. We provide the tools and platform to access, support and manage workplace charging. Park & Recharge have been contracted to support the Scottish Water Charging sites. 

Employee EV drivers

How do I use the charge points? (Webapp)
Employee and Private electric vehicle drivers can access chargepoints via the webapp or RFID card (RFID order page). For web app use:

To start a charge: 
  1. Enter the Charge Point ID number on the app
  2. Plug your charge cable into your vehicle
  3. Plug your charge cable into the charge point
  4. Select the correct socket on the app and press start charge.
To end a charge:
  1. Go to Profile on the app, select Active Charge Cycles and then select Stop Charging
  2. Unplug your charge cable from the charge point and from your vehicle
How do I access the webapp?
Please visit https://swev.app to access the Scottish Water EV charging webapp.

You can use this on your web browser. From here you can begin charging cycles, add credit to your account for PAYG charging stations, search for nearby charging stations and log any issues you are experiencing.
Do I have to use the webapp?
You can use either the app or an RFID card to access the charge points. If you would like an RFID card, you can request one via the website for a small fee.  (RFID order page)

Alternatively, you can link an exisiting RFID card or compatible device to your account via the webapp. 
I’ve received my Park & Recharge RFID card, do I need to activate it?
No, your membership card is activated upon dispatch. Simply place your card on your workplace's available charging point and start a charge cycle.
Can I use my Park & Recharge app to access other charging networks?
No, not at this time.
How much does it cost to charge?
The charge rates are set by Scottish Water, the cost to non-fleet EV drivers is 23p/kWh.
Do I need to be a member to use the charge points?
yes, you will need to register before you are able to use the chargepoints. Registration is quick and easy via the webapp Scottish Water App
